ClipX may process account information such as name, username, email address, phone number, profile image, authentication details, session information, and support communications.

We may also process uploaded videos, captions, comments, likes, follows, reports, moderation data, device and browser information, IP-related logs, and product usage activity needed to operate the service.

Some data may come from connected login, hosting, notification, analytics, moderation, or infrastructure providers involved in delivering the service.

Where push notifications are enabled, we may process device or browser messaging identifiers, service worker registration state, notification payload data, and related delivery metadata through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

We use personal data to provide the service, secure accounts, process uploads, operate feeds and comments, support moderation, manage notifications, troubleshoot issues, and improve product reliability.

We may also use data for analytics, service integrity, fraud prevention, abuse detection, legal compliance, and responding to support or rights-related requests.

We do not ask users to post unnecessary sensitive personal data in public fields such as comments, captions, usernames, or reports.

ClipX may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, SDK storage, or similar browser and device technologies to maintain sessions, keep you signed in, preserve security-related state, remember preferences, and support core product functions.

Where analytics or performance tooling is enabled, cookies or similar identifiers may also help us understand aggregate traffic, product usage patterns, reliability, and feature performance.

Push-notification related features may rely on browser storage, service worker state, and device-level identifiers associated with Firebase Cloud Messaging so that notification delivery and registration can work correctly.

Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings, including deleting saved cookies, blocking specific cookies, or blocking all cookies. If you disable essential cookies or local storage, some parts of ClipX may not work correctly.

We may disclose or make data available to service providers, infrastructure vendors, analytics providers, moderators, professional advisers, or authorities where reasonably necessary for operations, security, legal compliance, or rights protection.

These providers may include Cloudflare for content delivery, caching, traffic optimization, security, and related network services, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for web push notification registration and delivery.

If analytics tooling is enabled, we may also use a provider such as Google Analytics or a similar analytics service to understand product usage and improve reliability.

We do not control every third-party cookie or identifier directly, and users should review the relevant privacy notices of those providers where appropriate.

Data may be stored or processed on systems located inside or outside Malaysia. Where cross-border processing occurs, we aim to use appropriate safeguards and contractual or operational controls where reasonably available.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for product, security, operational, evidentiary, legal, or compliance purposes, and may retain limited records after deletion where necessary.

Subject to applicable Malaysian law, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 where applicable, you may request access to or correction of certain personal data, withdraw certain consents where relevant, or contact us about privacy concerns.
